Exxxotica, XTube Host 1st Ammy Awards

MIAMI — Adult event Exxxotica — Miami Beach and Web 2.0 site XTube.com are hosting The 1st Annual Amateur Adult Film Awards, aka the Ammy Awards.

“This is like the people’s choice award for the adult entertainment industry and the first one that is totally open only to amateur performers, writers and directors,” said J. Handy, creator of Exxxotica. “It’s really a groundbreaking event and destined to be an annual event at Exxxotica.”

The Ammys will feature amateur films both created by and voted on by true amateurs. Prizes include an Ammy Award that doubles as a functioning video camera, flights to Miami, hotel rooms, VIP tickets to Exxxotica and XTube money.

Winners will be announced at this year’s Exxxotica — Miami Beach, scheduled for April 18-20 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, located at 1901 Convention Center Dr., in South Beach, Fla.

“With all the advancements in home video equipment virtually anyone can make their own adult films,” XTube.com's Lance Cassidy said. “More and more people are getting in front of the camera now and letting the world see exactly what they can do that’s fantastic.”
